About David

David MacNiven has been working in the health insurance industry since 2015, assisting Medicare beneficiaries with education, guidance and support as a captive agent for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and CarePartners of CT. Dave joined Nutmeg Advisory Group in 2019 as an independent broker and launched Nutmeg Insurance Advisors in 2021 to better serve the changing needs of his clients, their families and their businesses.

He is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce and as the Board Chair for the Chamber Alliance with the Midstate Regional Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Curtis Home and Senior Promises.

Dave is also the creator and host of The Sounds of Health podcast.
